Infant Nido

Daily schedules, including naps, bottle feedings, meals, and activities, are adjusted according to each child's age and cues. Individual schedules are updated as children develop and their needs change.

5-month-old schedule

At 5 months, many babies still take 3 naps per day.

  • 7:00 AM Early arrival and greeting.
  • 8:00 AM Milk feeding and diapering.
  • 8:30 AM Montessori work cycle with language, sensory exploration, art, and music.
  • 9:30 AM Morning nap time and diapering.
  • 11:00 AM Milk feeding and diapering.
  • 11:30 AM Outdoor exploration and gross motor activities.
  • 12:15 PM Second nap and diapering.
  • 1:30 PM Milk feeding.
  • 2:00 PM Montessori activities, music, and movement.
  • 3:30 PM Third nap and diapering.
  • 4:30 PM Milk feeding.
  • 5:30 PM Departure preparation, diapering, and family pick-up.
8-month-old schedule

At 8 months, most babies transition to 2 naps per day and begin eating more solid foods.

  • 7:00 AM Arrival, greeting, and milk feeding.
  • 8:00 AM Breakfast with solids.
  • 8:30 AM Montessori work cycle with language, sensory exploration, art, and music.
  • 9:30 AM Morning nap time and diapering.
  • 11:00 AM Milk feeding.
  • 11:30 AM Outdoor exploration, gross motor activities, and diapering.
  • 12:30 PM Lunch with solids.
  • 1:30 PM Afternoon nap and diapering.
  • 4:00 PM Outdoor play, sensory experiences, social interactions, and diapering.
  • 5:00 PM Montessori activities, music and movement, or food preparation experiences.
  • 5:30 PM Departure preparation, diapering, and family pick-up.
14-month-old schedule
  • 7:00 AM Arrival, greeting, and breakfast.
  • 8:00 AM Outdoor exploration and gross motor activities.
  • 9:00 AM Montessori work cycle with practical life, language, sensory exploration, art, and music.
  • 10:00 AM Morning snack, water, and diapering.
  • 10:30 AM Nap time.
  • 12:15 PM Lunch.
  • 12:45 PM Diapering, books, songs, and quiet activities.
  • 1:30 PM Outdoor play, gardening, sensory experiences, and social interactions.
  • 2:30 PM Afternoon snack.
  • 3:00 PM Rest or a short afternoon nap, depending on the child's individual schedule.
  • 4:00 PM Montessori activities, music and movement, or food preparation experiences.
  • 5:00 PM Departure preparation, quiet play, and family pick-up.
