Toddler Community
For children 18-30 months, the Toddler Community supports independence, routine, language explosion, early social development, and confidence through meaningful practical life work.
Daily rhythm
- 7:00-8:00 Early drop-off with quiet activities, books, and simple practical life tasks.
- 8:00-8:30 Arrival, greeting, school-provided breakfast, and guided self-care routines.
- 8:30-10:30 Montessori work cycle with practical life, sensorial materials, early language, toileting, and snack.
- 10:30-12:00 Outdoor exploration with gross motor work, gardening, water engineering, mud play, art, and cooperative play.
- 12:00-1:00 Group time, songs, yoga, movement, stories, lunch, cleanup, toileting, and washing.
- 1:00-3:00 Nap or rest time in a quiet environment.
- 2:30-6:00 Wake-up, snack, afternoon work, creative art, weaving, ceramics, woodworking, yoga, dance, outdoor play, and pickup.
Development focus
- Children choose work within a prepared structure and practice self-care with guidance.
- Morning snack and afternoon snack are school-provided, with self-serve support when appropriate.
- Outdoor and afternoon programs invite creative art, hands-on woodworking, yoga, dance, and building.
- Pickup options include 3:30 PM full-day pickup and 6:00 PM late pickup.
